Regine Aeppli

Regine Aeppli, born 1952, studied law at the University of Zurich was admitted to the bar in 1982. She has been a member of the Government Council of the canton Zurich and Head of the Education Department since May 2003. Between 1987 and 1996 she was a member of the Zurich cantonal council and has been a member of the national council since 1995. Regine Aeppli was President of the Schweizerischen Arbeiterhilfswerks (SAH) from 1997 until 2003 and deputy ombudsman for the canton Zurich between 1995 and 2003.
