Teaching Diploma for Upper Secondary Education
The University of Zurich offers holders of a recognized Master's degree the possibility to earn a "Teaching Diploma for Upper Secondary Education" in their discipline. The degree program equips students with the pedagogical skills required to teach at an upper secondary school in Switzerland. The teaching diploma is recognized by the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education (EDK), meaning holders are qualified to teach their subject in the whole of Switzerland.

The University of Zurich offers a wide range of continuing education courses. From individual day courses to MAS courses of study over several years with renowned international institutions: all of the courses on offer meet the University of Zurich's highest quality standards.
The Language Center of the University and the ETH Zurich offers students of both universities language courses that can be taken alongside degree courses, as well as advice. Doctoral students and members have access to their own program, subject to a fee.
Lectures at the University of Zurich are also open to non-enrolled students. For a semester fee, audit students can take part in courses without being enrolled at the university.
