Holger M. Koch: Forschungsschwerpunkte: Methodenentwicklung, Analytik u.a. endokrin aktiver Substanzen (Endocrine Disruptors) wie z.B. Phthalsäureester, Bisphenol A. Humanmetabolismusstudien, Eliminationskinetiken. Bestimmung beruflicher und umweltbedingter innerer Belastungen. Modellrechnungen zur (täglichen) Aufnahme und Risikoabschätzungen.


Alexandra Polcher:
Mitglied des BiPRO Beratungsbüros für Unternehmen, Verbände, Ministerien, Behörden: Unterstützung bei der Lösung von Problemen mit technischen, wirtschaftlichen, ökologischen und gesundheitsrelevanten Fragestellungen.
Koordination des ESBIO Expert Team to Support European Human Biomonitoring.


Marike Kolossa-Gehring:
Leiterin des Fachgebiets II 1.2 „Toxikologie, humanbezogene Umweltbeobachtung“, Koordination der Umwelt-Surveys des deutschen Umweltbundesamts, d.h. Erfassung und Bewertung repräsentativer Daten für eine gesundheitsbezogene Umweltbeobachtung, Erstellung von Referenzwerten für die chemische Belastung, Darstellung zeitlicher und regionaler Trends, Identifikation von Belastungspfaden.

 

Susan Teitelbaum: Research Profile: Disorders: breast neoplasms, environmental exposures. Procedures: case-control studies. Concepts / Ideas: risk factors; odds ratio; the estrogen-biosynthesis gene CYP17 and its interactions with reproductive, hormonal and lifestyle factors in breast cancer risk: results from the Long Island Breast Cancer Study Project.

Languages at the symposium are English and German

Professionals and (graduate) students in human and veterinary medicine, biology, chemistry, especially in toxicology, teratology, reproductive biology, environmental sciences, public health, environmental medicine, environmental chemistry, epidemiology, human monitoring, risk management, a.o.

Certificate
For their portfolios of continuous education, registered delegates will receive a certificate confirming their attendance at the meeting.

Symposium fee
includes documentation (60-70 printed pages) and refreshments at coffee break.

Registration fee CHF 90.--

Reduced fee of CHF 60.-- for collaborators of XERR member institutions (see member list, page 2 of the registration form)

Reduced fee of CHF 20.-- for students. Students should bring their university identity-card (Legitimationskarte) to the meeting.

Confirmation of registration
Registered attendants will be notified by e-mail and will receive an invoice and a postal pay-in slip (Einzahlungsschein) by post.

Cancellation
Registered persons who cannot attend the meeting should inform the XERR Co-ordinating Office, Zurich, by phone or e-mail not later than a day before the meeting, i.e. September 10th, 2008. Otherwise costs will be charged.
