Admission to a Master's program with a BA from abroad

The University of Zurich will only recognize a Bachelor's degree from an accredited and state-approved university that qualifies the holder to enter a Master's program at the university awarding the degree. In addition, the study program at the foreign university must correspond to a Swiss Bachelor's program of study. If this is not the case, the UZH may ask additional requirements and conditions to be met or decide on placement in a Bachelor's program.

Foreign students wishing to apply for a Master's program must also provide proof of competence in German or English depending on the language of instruction.
