Studio apartments for doctoral students at ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich

Doctoral students who have just arrived in Switzerland to take up their doctoral studies and will be enrolled at University of Zurich are eligible to apply for a studio apartment.

Information and Application form

18 furnished studio apartments

9 studio apartments are reserved for doctoral students at the University of Zurich and 9 for doctoral students at ETH. The studio apartments have an ensuite bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a balcony, Internet connection and a storage area in the cellar. Bed linen and blankets are not provided.

Duration of rental contract:
Minimum 6 full months and maximum full 12 months

Rent:
CHF 656.– (apartment of 23 m²) per month all inclusive
CHF 758.– (apartment of 32 m²) per month all inclusive
Deposit: CHF 1,500.-

Please request your thesis supervisor to send us the completed application form for a doctoral studio apartment along with his/her confirmation that you are studying towards a doctoral degree under his/her supervision.
