swissuniversities and the Elsevier publishing house have signed a memorandum of understanding to conclude a Read&Publish contract, which will be valid retroactively from January 2020. It is already possible for all UZH authors to publish free of charge in Open Access in all Elsevier journals. Exceptions to this rule are journals from Cell Press, The Lancet and Society journals. Please also note that this only applies to articles submitted after January 1, 2020.
