Since the end of 2019 there has been no contract with the publisher Springer Nature for access to its electronic journals. The termination was supported by all Swiss universities as part of the implementation of the national Open Access strategy. So far the publisher has not restricted access to the journals. In the meantime, negotiations have been resumed. The publisher has reacted accordingly: Access to Springer Nature journals will continue.
