With Kartenportal.CH you can find numerous maps on a variety of topics, periods and regions. And this without having any bibliographic information available!
The search will be done either with “Google Maps zoom and drag function tool” or by entering a geographical name in the search field. Additional optional filters can specify the search.
MapRank geosearch software works in the background by searching for similar documents to cover for the user query space. MapRank uses data from the Swiss Metacatalog swissbib whereby Kartenportal.CH synchronizes the data with swissbib every day.
