Since its introduction in 2019 SciFindern has proven to be an improvement compared to the old platform in every way. Most users have switched to SciFindern by now and the feedback has been positive throughout.
For this reason, the discontinuation of the legacy SciFinder platform at UZH is scheduled for December 31st 2021.
If you haven’t made the switch yet, visit scifinder-n.cas.org, log in (using the same credentials as for the legacy platform) and start your first search. Those who do not have an account yet can register (Registration is only possible with a UZH e-mail address).
A detailed guide on how to migrate saved answer sets and alerts from legacy SciFinder to the new platform can be found at the CAS site. We also recommend the CAS Webinar Moving from SciFinder to CAS SciFindern on September 15th 2021 (recording will be available afterwards).
