The journal Hermeneutische Blätter (HBl) is the tenth Open Access journal on the HOPE publication platform. HBl is published by the Institute of Hermeneutics and Philosophy of Religion (IHR) and has appeared once or twice a year since 1995. From 1998-2001 the journal was published under the title TheoLogica and from 2002 again as Hermeneutische Blätter. It publishes interdisciplinary articles on topics relevant to hermeneutics, philosophy of religion, and theology.

Up to now, the Hermeneutische Blätter were mainly made available in print and only a selection of individual articles were made accessible via the institute’s homepage. Since this year, as well as with the move to HOPE, the issues are also displayed as an Open Access online version in addition to the print version. Currently, the considerable archive is being successively made available as Open Access on the new website. The OAI-PMH interface of the HOPE platform will thus give the articles a much wider reach in the future.

We are pleased that the established journal Hermeneutische Blätter has moved to HOPE and we wish the editorial team all the best.
