On day 3 of the Summer School the participants had the opportunity to attend a guided city tour of the historic downtown of Zurich. We left the main station at 18:30 h and walked along the Limmat River and up the narrow old streets to start with an amazing view. The guides showed us some remarkable places and I think we all learned some new facts about Zurich and its history. The tour finished at around 20:30 at the Paradeplatz – Zurich’s financial center.

unfortunately, I could not take pictures, but it was indeed amazing :) thanks so much for organising this – it was even great for someone who already knows the city…
