New: Wiley Medical Collection

Starting now, the Wiley Medical Collection is available on the UZH network (available until at least the end of 2024). The collection boasts over 140 of Wiley’s best-selling English language medical textbooks, compendia and reference works, including popular series such as At a Glance, ABC of and Lecture Notes.

All titles are catalogued in swisscovery, but can also be accessed directly via this title list. The e-books are available via the VitalSource platform. Full-text content can be read and searched directly via your internet browser without a personal account.

With a personal account, books can be read conveniently in the Bookshelf app from VitalSource and offline. The Bookshelf app is available for iOS and Android, and as a desktop app for Mac, Windows, and Google Chrome. Using the QR code displayed in the browser, the same content can be opened directly in the app, allowing for seamless reading when switching from browser to mobile device. All licensed titles can also be accessed directly in the app.

All licensed e-media are only accessible within the UZH network or with an activated VPN connection. You will find more information about e-library usage on the UB website.
