20 GB Default Quota für E-Mail

Mit der ab sofort wirksamen, erneuten Erhöhung der E-Mail Quota für alle Angehörigen der UZH dürfte selten noch ein Engpass in der eigenen E-Mail-Box auftreten. Mit neu 20 GB Standard-Quota (und zusätzlich pro Person weitere 20 GB frei im Institut verteilbare Quota) bietet die UZH Ihren Angehörigen mehr E-Mail Speicherplatz an, als es verschiedene grosse Anbieter tun. In vielen Firmen bis heute noch ein undenkbares Szenario.

Im Dezember hat auch SWITCHdrive den Speicherplatz verdoppelt. Mit 50 GB bietet die UZH auch hier ihren Angehörigen ein konkurrenzfähiges Angebot für Datenspeicherung auf Servern in der Schweiz an.

With the immediate doubling of the email quota for all members of UZH, there won’t be a shortage on personal email space anymore. With 20 GB quota (and additional 20 GB per person freely distributable within your organization), the UZH offers more email storage than most big providers do. That was unthinkable a few years ago and is still not achieved in many companies.

In December SWITCHdrive also doubled its quota. With 50 GB, the UZH offers its members a competitive offer for data storage on servers in Switzerland.
