Wie in den vergangenen Jahren findet das IBM Connect User Group (ICON) Switzerland Meeting am 10. Oktober 2018 ab 15:00 an der UZH (SOC-1-106) statt. Als letzten Herbst IBM für Domino/Notes eine strategische Zusammenarbeit mit HCL angekündigt hat, wurde mancherorts das Ende für Domino/Notes heraufbeschwört. Ob das verfrüht war oder nicht, wird erst die Zukunft zeigen. Die Tatsache, dass aber jetzt nach Jahren wieder eine neue Version für Domino/Notes vorgestellt wird, darf als Aufbruch verstanden werden.

Der Launch für Domino/Notes V10 findet weltweit am 9./10. Oktober 2018 statt. In der Schweiz wird Domino/Notes V10 in Zürich im Rahmen von ICON Switzerland an der UZH präsentiert. Bob Schultz, General Manager Watson Talent & Collaboration, IBM wird dabei an der UZH Domino/Notes V10 lancieren. Danach werden Luis Guirigay, WW Executive IT Specialist, IBM und Richard Jefts, Vice President and General Manager Collaborative Workflow Platform, HCL, in einer Live-Demonstration den einzigartigen Geschäftswert von IBM Domino V10 und die Ergebnisse der HCL-Partnerschaft zeigen. Die Podiumsdiskussion wird der erste öffentliche Anlass sein, an welchem IBM- und HCL-Executives gemeinsam die kollektiven Perspektiven für das IBM Domino-Geschäft diskutieren und vorstellen. Dies ist DIE Gelegenheit, das Engagement für das IBM Domino-Geschäft aus erster Hand erleben zu können, und es ist Ihre Chance, Fragen von Spitzenkräften der beiden Firmen beantwortet zu bekommen.

As in previous years, the IBM Connect User Group (ICON) Switzerland Meeting will be held on October 10, 2018 at 15:00 at the UZH (SOC-1-106). When last autumn IBM announced a strategic cooperation with HCL for Domino/Notes, the end for Domino/Notes was conjured up in some places. Whether this was premature or not will only be seen in the future. The fact that now after years again a new version for Domino/Notes is presented, however, can be understood as departure.

The launch for Domino/Notes V10 will take place worldwide on 9/10 October 2018. In Switzerland, Domino/Notes V10 will be presented in Zurich as part of ICON Switzerland at the UZH. Bob Schultz, General Manager Watson Talent & Collaboration, IBM will launch at the UZH Domino/Notes V10. Afterwards Luis Guirigay, WW Executive IT Specialist, IBM and Richard Jefts, Vice President and General Manager Collaborative Workflow Platform, HCL, will demonstrate the unique business value of IBM Domino V10 and the results of the HCL partnership in a live demonstration. In a panel of IBM and HCL executives never seen before, you will hear the collective perspectives of the leaders responsible for the IBM Domino business.
