US News Global Universities Ranking 2018

UZH has moved up 11 places in this year’s international university ranking by US News & World Report, coming in at an excellent position of 59th in the world.

The US News & World Report issues the most widely referenced university ranking in the United States and is the main source of information in the US for ambitious students and researchers. This year marks the fourth time the rankings have included universities throughout the world.

The ranking again shows indicators rating an entire institution as well as in individual subject areas. Both ranking types are based on the same 13 indicators, which are weighted differently depending on the subject area. In addition to evaluating the global and regional reputation of a university, bibliometric indicators and assessments of education achievements are analyzed in the rankings.
