The UBS Center for Economics in Society, UBS Center in short, is an Associated Institute at the Department of Economics of the University of Zurich. The Center promotes economic research at all academic levels and supports the continuous exchange between science, politics and society. Previous speakers include Nobel Prize winners such as Esther Duflo and Daniel Kahneman as well as renowned representatives from business and politics.
Through its activities, the UBS Center aims to strengthen the position of Zurich, and Switzerland more generally, as a leading location for education and business. The UBS Center has been organizing regular public events in various formats for over ten years:
