Freshers' Days
At the Freshers' Days you will receive important information about your study program, your faculty and the University of Zurich. In addition, the Freshers' Days offer you the opportunity to explore the campus, get to know your fellow students and make first contacts with them.
Depending on the faculty, the Freshers' Days will take place in the fall semester 2022 in the period from September 13 to 19, 2022:
- Faculty of Law: 13.9.2022
- Faculty of Science: 13. and 15.9.2022
- Faculty of Theology: 14. and 15.9.2022
- Vetsuisse Faculty: 15.9.2022
- Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences: 15.9.2022
- Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics: 16.9.2022
- Faculty of Medicine: 19.9.2022

ERSTI FAIR
At the Ersti Fair you will get to know the VSUZH, the Impulsfabrik as center for student engagement as well as various central services of the University of Zurich. Last but not least, you can make first contacts with your fellow students at a casual aperitif with cool drinks.
The Ersti Fair will take place on September 15 and 16 from 12 to 4 p.m. in the atrium of the UZH Center. On September 19, the Ersti Fair will be from 12-4 p.m. in the atrium of the Irchel Campus.
Welcome Event for international Master Students
Master students who have completed their bachelor's degree at a university in another country are warmly invited to our Welcome Event, which takes place in the auditorium of the University of Zurich (KOL-G-201) on Thursday, 15th September 2022 from 17:00 to 19:00.
The Deputy President and Vice President Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Gabriele Siegert, will deliver a welcome speech. Afterwards two experienced students will provide you with valuable information about your stay at the University of Zurich.
The Welcome Event is the perfect occasion to get acquainted with the university you have chosen. The speeches will be followed by an informal gathering, at which you will have the opportunity of networking with your new fellow students.
