History of Social Security in Switzerland

With over a hundred contributions, the Soziale Sicherheit website offers users access to the history of the Swiss welfare state from different perspectives. This platform is a co-production between the Universities of Basel, Zurich and the Ecole d'études sociales et pédagogiques (EESP) Lausanne. It was commissioned by the Swiss Bundesamt für Sozialversicherungen (BSV) and is regularly revised and expanded. An English version complements the existing German, French and Italian versions.
