The Chair of Vocational and Educational Training is the only one of its kind in Switzerland.

In the field of research, the chair analyses questions of the historical development of vocational education in Switzerland, the diverse teaching and learning environments in vocational training, the transition from school into working life and the comparison of vocational training systems from an international perspective. In addition, the chair carries out different development and evaluation projects in the field of vocational education and training.
