Due to the abundance of inquiries, we have summarized similar questions in FAQs; please read them carefully. We take the liberty of no longer answering questions that are clarified in the FAQs.

We are currently receiving many questions regarding the interpretation of the following text passages in the Fact Sheet on Assessments. We would like to clarify these:
«All official versions published by the Federal Chancellery and the cantons in all available official languages are permitted.» (Ziff. 2.2.2b)
All official laws as well as approved private law collections may also be taken to the examination multiple times (e.g. 2,3,4 etc. times the same official edition of the Federal Constitution would be allowed).
You may also print several pages on one page.
«If writing in aids is permitted, then keywords, sentences, etc. are allowed in the aids that are brought to the examination.» (Ziff. 2.2.2b)
You may write in any page without restriction (including book covers and spines).
You may write whatever you want into it (including cooking recipes).
You may also write directly into the PDF with a suitable software and bring it printed to the exam.
Tabs in aids are only allowed in open book exams.
