We investigate fundamental processes in low dimensional systems

Our research focuses on the interplay between electronic and atomic motion in low-dimensional systems, including surfaces, interfaces, and molecules. We investigate fundamental processes such as molecular adsorption, self-assembly, charge and energy transport, and light-matter interaction. Our investigations rely on atomic-level probes such as photoemission, scanning tunneling microscopy, and electron diffraction techniques.
