The term of office of the delegates is two years, unless the rules applicable to a committee provide for a different term of office.
The ASVZ is a cross-university service provider. Its purpose is to promote sport on a voluntary basis for all students and members of universities in Zurich. As an association under private law, it has been fulfilling this task since 1939, formerly on behalf of the federal government and canton, today by the ETH Zurich, the University of Zurich and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, which support it financially.
The Awards Committee is responsible for the decisions concerning the allocation of GRC Grants. It consists exclusively of early career researchers from all seven faculties of UZH. This is intended to promote the co-responsibility and participation of early career researchers at GRC. Per faculty, one delegate takes a seat in the awards committee.

Commission of ETH and UZH
The commission is responsible for supervising the PBS. In addition, the Commission supports the PBS, particularly in questions of strategic direction. The PBS is open to all students and doctoral students at the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich. The consultations are free and confidential. The conversations can be conducted in German, English, French, Polish or Swedish.

The board of trustees is the supreme body of the foundation and is composed on an equal footing. Employee representation is elected by VAUZ.
As a community foundation, the VSAO pension foundation aims to provide occupational pension provision within the framework of the Federal Act on Occupational Retirement, Survivors' and Disability Pension Plans and its implementing provisions for medical and senior physicians, other employed doctors and other academics in further training.

The members of the cooperative are legal entities; on the part of UZH, these are VSUZH, VAUZ and UZH alumni.
