Some technical details

1. The MNI brain volume was scanned at 5mm resolution. The MNI coordinates were converted to “corrected” Talairach coordinates, then given to the Talairach Daemon. Voxels that were unambiguously labeled as cortical grey matter,  and that fell unambiguously within the brain compartment, were retained. This produced 6239 cortical grey matter voxels at 5mm resolution.

2. This software reports MNI coordinates, not Talairach coordinates. However, quantitative neuroanatomy is based on “corrected” Talaiarch coordinates, using the results produced by the Talairach Daemon.

3. The head model for the inverse solution uses the electric potential lead field computed with the boundary element method applied to the MNI152 template.
