Tag der Lehre

The annual Tag der Lehre (Day of Excellence in Teaching) brings together the whole UZH teaching community to celebrate innovative teaching with inspiring workshops, exhibitions, discussions and input on current trends in teaching.

Next Tag der Lehre on 1 November 2024

The Tag der Lehre takes place every year in late October or early November. All instructors and students at UZH are invited, and teaching staff from other universities are also very welcome. The Tag der Lehre has been held since 2009 and underscores the importance of innovative teaching at the University of Zurich.  You can find more information about the program and how to register on the Tag der Lehre website.

Launch of the Teaching Award Survey

The annual Tag der Lehre also marks the launch of the Teaching Award nomination survey involving all UZH students. Over a two- to three-week period, all students at UZH can nominate their favorite instructors for the Teaching Award for the following year. The UZH Teaching Award is presented every year at the end of April at the Dies academicus – the celebration of the founding of UZH.
