Linguistic analysis

In this part of the Chintang Language Research Program we aim at developing in-depth analyses of the language, based as much as possible on our corpus. A comprehensive grammar treating all aspects of the language is in preparation since 2014. Meanwhile see the existing dissertations and other publications.

So far analysis has been focussing on morphology (Rai et al. 2005, Bickel et al. 2007), grammatical relations and valency (Bickel 2008, Bickel et al. 2010, Schikowski et al. 2015), clause linkage (Paudyal et al. 2010) and spatial deixis (Dirksmeyer 2008).
