Marion is a postdoctoral researcher for the SNSF Eccellenza Professor grant of Prof. Per Block. Besides this position, she is also a Research Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in Toulouse, in France. She previously received a Ph.D. from ETH Zürich in 2021, at the Chair of Social Networks.

Her research aims at furthering statistical methods for the analysis of social networks and social groups. Her work has particularly focused on the development of relational event models and exponential family models tailored for social group data. She has also worked on empirical studies devoted to understanding the role of depressive symptoms and socioeconomic attributes in the emergence of social interactions. During her postdoc at UZH, she works on the specification of models for weighted networks, with the goal of analyzing social mobility networks.
