Prof. Dr. Heiko Rauhut, born in 1977, is Full Professor of Social Theory and Quantitative Methods at the University of Zurich. He has raised an SNSF Starting Grant, which builds the main funding source of his research-oriented chair and his team. He studied Sociology at the University of Leipzig and Social Research Methods (Sociology) at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He completed his doctorate at the University of Leipzig and his habilitation at the ETH Zurich. Research interests: Social theory, analytical sociology, game theory, quantitative methods, experimental sociology, social norms and cooperation, sociology of science.
