Welcome to beautiful Zurich (or Zürich, /ˈzjʊərɪk/, in Swiss German), the largest city in Switzerland lying at the northwestern tip of Lake Zurich. The congress will be held at the main building of the University of Zurich, Switzerland. The University of Zurich is located next to the old town in the city centre. We are pleased to announce that we will be located in the Aula of the University of Zurich where Winston Churchills landmark speech was issued September 19, 1946. The University of Zurich is one of the leading research universities in Europe and includes seven faculties, from law, business, economics and informatics, to theology, arts and social sciences and the veterinary medical faculty as well as the faculty of science and medicine.

By public transport

  • from Zurich airport several trains every hour to Zurich main station (Zurich HB) (approximately 10-15 minutes)
  • from Zurich main station (Zurich HB) or Central tram 6 or 10 to ETH / Universitätsspital (6-7 minutes), short walk
  • from Bellevue tram 5 or 9 to Kantonsschule (3 minutes), short walk

Walking

  • from Zurich main station approximately 20 minutes
