DSI project on NLP technologies for sign languages

Mathias Müller has obtained funding from the Digital Society Initiative (DSI) for research on sign language machine translation.

The DSI will fund a 4-year Bridge Postdoc project on fundamental NLP technologies for sign languages, such as segmentation and alignment tools.

This will strengthen our focus and expertise on sign language processing at the department going forward.
