The Chair of Private, Commercial and European Law as well as Comparative Law has a vacancy for a research assistant in the area of the Swiss Code of Obligations, with a focus on Consumer Law and International Commercial Law.

The duties include working on national and international research and publication projects as well as assisting the chair holder with courses, examinations and student issues. In addition, the research assistant will be involved in the preparation and implementation of academic events.

We are looking for applicants with a very good Bachelor's and Master's degree in law. A keen interest in all areas of the Code of Obligations, a perfect command of German and English and a high level of linguistic proficiency are basic requirements.

The writing of a dissertation is explicitly desired and a research stay abroad is encouraged.
