Employment of Instructors

Instructors are employed under private law when their roles at the University of Zurich focus purely on teaching. In exceptional cases, curricular teaching duties can also be conducted under a private law mandate or a posting agreement.

For instructors who do more than only teach, their teaching duties are integrated into their public law employment contract.
