Geopolitical Conflicts
Keeping the Dialog Going
The University of Zurich is a place where people can engage in reflection, exchange views and foster an open, democratic culture of discussion, even in situations of conflict. Humanity, respect and tolerance are the cornerstones of our community. We do not tolerate anti-Semitism, racism or discrimination.
UZH hosts events that present and discuss geopolitical conflicts and current social issues as part of its Dialograum series.
Code of Conduct
Part of UZH’s mission and commitment to social responsibility is creating space for balanced debates rooted in academia, as well as fostering the skills required for this, in particular independent, analytical thinking based on values and facts.
The UZH Code of Conduct guides all members of the university in their day-to-day activities. It strengthens the sense of community at UZH and ensures a shared understanding of how we interact with and care for one another.
Support and Well-Being for the UZH Community
One of the University of Zurich’s key priorities is ensuring that its members receive support, particularly in these turbulent times.
Psychological Counseling Services UZH/ETH
The Psychological Counseling Services provide matriculated students with support when it comes to issues relating to their studies and personal difficulties, regardless of their background. Personal issues for which the PBS can offer low-threshold support include major life events and the challenges of cultural integration. If students are affected by conflict or war, they can sign up for psychological counseling at the PBS.
