Schild "There is no Planet B"

Lecture Series Sustainability Team UZH

As part of the lecture series "Sustainability Now!" – organised by the Sustainability Team and the Right Livelihood Centre of the University of Zurich, Laureates of the Right Livelihood Award, also known as the "Alternative Nobel Prize", will report on their engagement in various fields of sustainable development. In the subsequent panels, these experiences will be reflected on from the perspective of research, politics and civil society.

The format will discuss global societal challenges and cross-disciplinary issues such as human rights, social inequality, biodiversity loss, and resource scarcity. Each lecture will focus on a specific aspect of sustainable development, such as Indigenous Peoples as preservers of biodiversity or the role of peace education for a safe environmental space.

The majority of the events will be held in English.
