Q & A

Answers to the questions asked at the Welcome Event on 19 February 2024:

What happens if I don't pass the mobility exam? Can I take part in the regular exams?
If students do not pass the mobility exam, they cannot switch to the regular exam in the same semester.

  • Make-up mobility examinations for MLaw modules are offered in the next semester. Mobility students must apply for the exams again in the following semester using the student portal.
  • Make-up mobility examinations for BLaw modules must be arranged individually with the professors and chairs and can only be taken in the next semester.

I have taken the regular exams and failed, when can I take the make-up exams?
If you have taken the regular examinations, the regulations of the Faculty of Law apply.

  • Make-up exams for compulsory modules are offered every semester. Mobility students must reapply for the exam for the following semester via the student portal.
  • Make-up exams for elective and core elective modules are only available if the module is offered again. Some modules are only offered once a year. Mobility students must reapply for the exam.

Where can I buy my textbooks?
Unfortunately, we cannot officially name any publishers, but some are listed on the homepage of the student association Juris
