Preparing for a doctoral program chiefly consists of searching for a PhD committee staffed by at least two instructors who are authorized to issue recommendations to award doctorates. Contact instructors on the list of staff authorized to issue recommendations to award doctorates at the Department of Sociology to discuss your dissertation proposal. It is essential that at least one PhD advisor be an authorized examiner at the University of Zurich.
All important information concerning matters prior to, during and for completing the doctoral program are published by the Graduate School of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
