In the past 20 years, both digital religious practice and research in the field of digital religion(s) and digital theology(s) have increased considerably, triggering a high dynamic of academic work and reflection. Since 2021, these dynamics have been addressed by the interdisciplinary University Research Priority Program "Digital Religion(s). Communication, Interaction and Transformation in the Digital Society." The interdisciplinary lecture series will provide insights into this future-oriented field of research and into the initial findings of individual research projects in the fields of theology and religious studies, media and communication studies, sociology and law, as well as German studies and computational linguistics.
