Travel to UZH Impacted by Construction Works and New Timetable

The Bahnhofquai Zürich tram stop will undergo extensive renovations and be made fully accessible between 14 December 2025 and 12 December 2026. As a result, the stop will be closed to tram services and the affected lines will be diverted. Travelers and commuters should use the stops at Bahnhofplatz, Bahnhofstrasse and Sihlquai instead. At the same time, the VBZ is completely reorganizing its tram network, with 10 of 14 tram lines being given new routes.

The construction works and the new tram network will affect access to various sites at the University of Zurich, including City Campus, Irchel Campus, Oerlikon Campus, the Botanical Garden and Lengg Campus. Please check the VBZ website for the latest travel information.
