One-Stop Library Services
Since the beginning of 2022, all UZH libraries have been united under the organizational umbrella of the University Library (UB). The University Library offers a comprehensive range of library services for the public and all members of UZH. It works closely with the Zentralbibliothek Zürich (ZB). Literature covering around 50 subject areas is available across more than 41 locations. These locations provide learning and study spaces, subject-specific consultation, and research support from the expert liaison librarians of the University Library and the Zentralbibliothek.

Open Monday to Friday
The locations of the University Library are generally open to the public from Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Individual and exceptional opening hours for each location are available in the location navigator.

As a university library, the Zentralbibliothek (ZB) is an important part of the library infrastructure of the University of Zurich (UZH). For UZH students, Zentralbibliothek provides an attractive study environment in the heart of the university district, with more than 600 workspaces, making it an integral part of the UZH library campus.
