School for Transdisciplinary Studies

The School for Transdisciplinary Studies (STS) offers inter- and transdisciplinary courses and transferable competence courses to Bachelor’s and Master’s students from all faculties. The courses address future-relevant, cross-sectional areas and provide students with an excellent opportunity to broaden their horizon beyond their own academic field and to network with students and experts from a wide range of disciplines – in order to become innovative shapers of tomorrow.

Inter- and Transdisciplinary Courses

The academic inter- and transdisciplinary courses cover future-oriented cross-cutting topics such as digital transformation, sustainable development, innovation and entrepreneurship, diversity or citizen science and address current issues in the context of the so-called grand challenges.
