马来西亚华⼈作家李忆莙的《遗梦之北》获《亚洲周刊》评选为2012年度⼗⼤中⽂⼩说。⼩说以马来西亚⼀个⼩镇为背景,展现移民到南洋的华⼈⽣活,保留了许多民间信仰和世俗的⽣活实践。它以叶⽒家族的⼏代⼥性的命运为主线,描述她们的⼼灵世界和⼈⽣最寻常的悲欢离合,以及⽣命更深层处的精神世界。此⽂探索⼥性命运在多神崇拜和宿命观念下所受到的冲击,也可以说是⼀部神秘又实在的南洋⼥性⼼灵史。

The Lecture will be held in Chinese. For the Q&A, questions in both English and Chinese are welcome.

Dr. Fan Pik Wah was born in the state of Kedah in Malaysia. Her ancestral home is Zhaoqing, a district of Guangdong province, making her a member of the Hakka dialect group. After graduating from the University of Malaya with a Bachelor and a Master of Arts degree in Chinese Studies, she obtained a PhD from Peking University, China in Chinese Classical Literature. Dr. Fan is associate professor and head of the Department of Chinese Studies, Faculty of Arts and Social Science at University of Malaya. Her research areas include classical Chinese literature, Malaysian Chinese literature and culture. She has extensively published on Chinese Shi poetry, Malaysian Chinese literature, and Malaysian Chinese culture.

潘碧华出⽣于马来西亚吉打州,祖籍⼴东肇庆⾼要,毕业于马来亚⼤学中⽂系,并且获得北京⼤学古代⽂学博⼠。现任教于马来亚⼤学中⽂系副教授兼主任,马来西亚华⽂作家协会会长。专业研究中国古代诗词、马来西亚华⽂⽂学和华⼈⽂化。
