The BCC conducts interdisciplinary research and education on blockchain technology and blockchain-based systems and is the largest academic initiative in the renowend global blockchain hub that Switzerland represents today. Exploring the applications beyond cryptocurrencies, as well as the delving into different technical aspects, business opportunities and financial understanding are just as much a part of the BCC's core tasks as pursuing regulatory and societal questions raised by the rapid technological progress.
