Self-Reflection in Higher Education Institutions and Science

The CHESS wants to encourage self-reflection in higher education institutions and science. It conducts high-level university and science research, performs advisory functions and handles mandates for various academic and science policy actors. As part of the UZH Leadership and Governance Academy, CHESS offers continuing education for university leaders. With lectures, talks, and workshops on one hand and publications of research results and position papers on the other, CHESS aims to contribute actively to the discourse on science policy.
