Team Effort Award

In addition to awards for academic achievements, UZH also presents the Team Effort Award to acknowledge outstanding commitment by members of its staff or students. This award aims to draw attention to work done behind the scenes, which in many cases can enrich the University or society in exceptional and welcome ways. It is a means for UZH to express gratitude for work done by the staff and students. The award comes with prize money of CHF 5,000 and was presented for the first time at the 2019 Dies academicus.

Team-Effort-Preis

1. Nominations are open to teams that usually consist of at least three people who belong to the university or have a very close relationship with it.
2. The team effort represents a particularly innovative and/or sustainable achievement that has significantly enriched the university or society.
3. As a rule, the achievement should have already been made. Mere ideas and scientific work are excluded.
