UZH supports Open Library of Humanities Library Partnership Subsidy program
Starting from 2017, the University of Zurich is the first Swiss University to support the Open Library of Humanities.
The Open Library of Humanities is a charitable organisation, which is a gold open access, peer-reviewed, scientific mega-journal and also a multi-journal platform for journals in the humanities. It is funded by a worldwide library consortium of more than 200 libraries. This consortia financing model means that there are no author-facing charges (APCs).

The OLH mega-journal accepts articles from various disciplines such as ancient science, theology, philosophy, modern language and literary sciences, film and media sciences, anthropology, political science and sociology. The submitted articles are subject to a peer-review procedure. The article language does not have to be English.

The Open Library of Humanities integrates formerly subscription-based journals into its journal portfolio and converts them to Open Access. At irregular intervals, new journals will be added after a rigorous selection and review process, thus expanding the portfolio. Here you can find the current list of hosted journals on OLH.
