Sarah Berkinshaw is a doctoral student in the SNSF research project ‘Labour Markets as Emergent Mobility Networks’ under the direction of Prof. Per Block, starting in 2024. She studied sociology and political science at the University of Zurich, specializing in economic sociology with a focus on educational inequalities. Her research interests include social stratification and the causes, processes, and consequences of social mobility, which she examines using quantitative research methods and social network analysis.
