Zudem steht seit kurzem der Herold, das Standardwerk der Inneren Medizin, über die Pschyrembel-Plattform zur Verfügung und Access Medicine ist neu als Campuslizenz ohne Zugriffsbeschränkung zugänglich.
Die Anpassung des Angebotes an die aktuellen Bedürfnisse wurde ohne zusätzliche finanzielle Mittel realisiert. D.h. die zentralen Neuanschaffungen wurden durch Bereinigung von Abonnementen und Abbestellung von Zeitschriften und Datenbanken umgesetzt. Die Auswahl erfolgte anhand von definierten Kriterien, insbesondere aufgrund Kosten-Nutzen-Relationen, und in Kontakt mit den Stakeholdern.
Zudem musste die HBZ (wie andere Betriebseinheiten der UZH) kurzfristig auf 2018 eine Budgetkürzung umsetzen. Zeitschriftenpakete der Verlage American Institute of Physics und Karger konnten nicht vollständig, sondern nur noch in Auswahl lizenziert werden. Des Weiteren wurde das Angebot der Wiley Current Protocols optimiert. Artikel nicht mehr lizenzierter Zeitschriften können Sie über unseren Dokumentenlieferdienst bestellen.

Also now available is Herold, the standard work of internal medicine, via the Pschyrembel platform and Access Medicine is additionally licensed for the whole campus without any access restrictions.
The adjustment of the portfolio to current needs was realized without additional funding: The central new acquisitions were financed by cleaning of subscriptions and cancellations of journals and databases. The selection was made on the basis of defined criteria, in particular cost per use, and in contact with stakeholders.
In addition, the HBZ (like other UZH operating units) had to implement a budget cut for 2018 at short notice. Journal packages from the publishers American Institute of Physics and Karger could not be continued in their entirety, but only as a selection. Furthermore, the offer of Wiley Current Protocols was optimized. Articles of no longer licensed journals can be ordered via our document delivery service.
